I just got home from work. Living half an hour from Chicago really means that you live about an hour and fifteen minutes from Chicago, if you take the train. I get up at about 5:00 am, get to the train station at 6:55, to take a train that gets in to Union Station at about 8:00, then I get to training by 8:30, then I leave between 4:30 and 5:00, and, depending on when I leave, and how fast I choose to walk to the station, I either take a train that gets me home at about 5:45 or 6:15. How exicting!
Of course, I can't get on a train without having to sit next to a very, very talkative older woman, or sit behind a smelly old man. You gotta love Metra.
