I'm wondering...are there people who read this on a regular basis? If you find yourself checking back here, let me know.

It feels like life is kind of in limbo right now. I mean, no one knows what's going to happen next (not that we ever did, but still)...are we going to go to war? Can we solve this without violence? Is Chicago going to be the next target? How could this happen...and can it happen again?

There are so many questions out there, and there's no one who knows all the answers. I feel so helpless.

In the same vein, though, life has to go on. If we all stopped our lives because terror struck...well, we wouldn't be the US. However trite this may sound, we have to get on with our lives - America lived on after Pearl Harbor, the assassination of JFK, the Challenger Accident, the Gulf War, and we're going to survive this.

I understand where many people are coming from when they say that they just want to nuke the hell out of whoever did this - but, really, take a step back from everything. Will bombing a whole country solve anything? If it will honestly and truly solve this terrorism problem that almost every nation on the Earth faces, then yes, we probably should sacrifice the few for the good of the many...but if there's a chance, however slight, that it won't solve ANYTHING, then why should we waste our resources on it?

Like I said, I have a ton of questions. If anyone wants to help me out, you know the email address.

I'm still praying for everyone. I mean that. Everyone.
