Okay, I had an awesome time last night at the Forever Green party, hosted by the Young Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago. I enjoyed the whole party, from the drink-as-much-as-you-can Amstel Light, to the Emerald Society (wink), to Black 47. Truly a great time. I'm definitely going back next year...
On a second and somewhat lesser note, I saw Resident Evil tonight. I really should research my movie choices much more carefully, because I was seriously disturbed by the movie. I have never seen a more visually scary movie. Yes, I did say that The Others was the scariest movie I ever saw...but that was all in my head, you know? I don't know what it was about Resident Evil, but it just disturbed me. Maybe it was because I went into it expecting an action movie about an AI computer gone awry. I guess I just didn't pay attention to the parts of the previews that talked about the virus thing. It was very scary. That said, I can't wait for Panic Room to come out.
